Industrial Plastics & Paints is a chain of outlet stores located throughout Western Canada. Each location has a Fabrication Shop where we can Cut, Bend, Glue, Rout plastic sheet and other materials into almost anything our Customers desire. We offer products from many well know manufacturers such as Cyro, Dow, SICO, Plaskolite, GE, Lexan, Starboard, Devcon and many others.
The business was started in Victoria, BC Canada by two returning WWII Veterans.While serving in the Canadian Air Force, these two had witnessed, first hand, the development of Plastics in the aviation industry. So when they returned from the war, they opened up a small Plastics fabrication shop on Fort St in Victoria, BC. The business was later moved to bigger premises on Douglas St, where they began to develop the merchandise side of the business. In the 1980's the business again expanded into larger premises on Quadra St. This location served as the main office and warehouse for over 20 years.In 2008 the business was move to an even larger 18,000 sq. ft. premise on Cloverdale Ave.This current location serves as the Corporate offices, the company's distribution warehouse, the Victoria area store operations and has a 6,000 sq. ft. Marine Store located on the second floor.
